Tyra Banks Leaves BOA Steakhouse
The mother of a girl who appeared on Tyra Bank's talk show last year is now suing Banks for $3 million. Tyra's show may now be off the air, but the repercussions of one 2009 episode may just be beginning.
Atlanta resident Beverly McClendon has filed a suit against Banks, her producers, and Warner Bros. Entertainment, claiming that the talk show obtain proper parental consent before bringing on McClendon's then 15-year-old daughter to appear on a show about teenage sex addicts.
McClendon's suit claims that Tyra producers found the girl through an online casting call, and then flew her to New York and put her up in a hotel before the show, all without informing her mother. The suit claims that the episode "was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike," and seeks to prevent future airings of the show.

McClendon also claims she filed a missing persons report on her daughter when she realized she was gone, unaware that her child was actually filming in New York.
