Together with her DJ boyfriend Mathieu Schreyer the couple looked deep in conversation as they spent some quality time together.

The pair have been dating since 2008 when they met at a French cafe and recently moved in together.

Dawson looked quite demure during her day at the beach, but she's certainly shedding that image in an upcoming photo shoot for German GQ magazine.

Wearing very little at all, Dawson reveals her toned body in a series of provocative and steamy photographs for the magazine's November edition.

Dawson's Sin City co-star Jessica Alba has also appeared in a similarly sexy photo shoot for the UK edition of GQ.

However, Dawson says she feels old and fat when she's in Los Angeles.

'I feel uber skinny and super young in New York,' she said, but when she's in Hollywood she's constantly asked to lose weight.

'I'm 31, I'm starting to get old. I'm not emaciated. The amount of times I've been told to lose weight is unbelievable, I kid you not.'

Despite topping sexiest women lists all the time, Dawson told Total Film magazine in an interview for their November edition: 'I tell them - it's just the boobs!

'I would get told by my manager: "Rosario, you went into your audition with sweats today. If you want to wear a sweater, just make sure it's tight." Because the casting directors would call her and say, 'She's great but the casting director needs to know if she's slim.'

'I'm like, 'Dude, have you seen the photos I've done? You know what I look like.'

'Dawson also has a new movie coming out at the same time her GQ cover hits the news stands.

She will star opposite Denzel Washington and Chris Pine in the thriller Unstoppable, which will be released on November 12.

The film follows Dawson, Washington and Pine's efforts to stop a freight train filled with explosives from detonating.
