The 33-year-old took some time out recently from her hectic Strictly schedule to have a few days in the sun in Marbella - and she'll have time to have a few more since she was voted off the show last night.

She and dance partner, DJ and actor Goldie, 45, were sent packing last night after being the first couple voted off by the public.

Although they didn't get the lowest score - that indignity went to Ann Widdecombe and Anton Du Beke - they failed to inspire those sitting at home on their sofas to save them.

Posting on her official Twitter account last night, Kristina opined: 'Thank u for all your tweets, really sad that @MRGOLDIE and me are out, but really loved the time we had,thank u and gd luck to every1 xx;'

Kristina first arrived on Strictly in 2008 when she partnered political journalist John Sergeant.

Last year, she partnered former bozer Joe Calzaghe, 38, who she is now dating.

Despite their romance however - which made for memorable chemistry - there were voted off in week five.

That means the furthest she's managed to get in the competition was week 10 with John Sergeant - who withdrew, as he feared he might win it, despite ending up at the bottom of the leader board week after week.

But with her dancing-honed body, it seems that Kristina is very much a winner everytime she puts on a tiny two-piece.
